Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Deliver freight to designated locations with precision and timeliness
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather conditions
- Assist with loading/unloading when required (non-touch freight preferred)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
