Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols during night operations
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance documentation
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time load updates
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service during dock interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM) with flexibility
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat materials (preferred but not required)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication abilities
