Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across New York metropolitan routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery schedules while maintaining accuracy
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Manage cargo loading/unloading procedures with precision
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and real-time tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible schedules
- Previous experience with hazmat tanker a plus
