Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and local routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining excellent customer service
- Document deliveries and handle paperwork with precision
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Represent NY Transport Solutions with professionalism at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of NYC traffic regulations and route planning
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional weekend shifts
