Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefers) following DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules
- Inspect and maintain vehicles pre/post-trip for compliance
- Document logs and paperwork accurately for regulatory compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and route planning
- Pass background check and drug screening
