Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Minnesota and surrounding states
- Adhere to DOT regulations, including HOS compliance and thorough pre/post-trip inspections
- Plan and execute efficient routes while maintaining delivery schedules and customer satisfaction
- Securely load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams regarding shipment status
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills in diverse weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and occasional weekends
