Job Summary
We are currently hiring dedicated CDL Class A Drivers to join our growing fleet. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the Midwest. If you are a professional driver looking for a stable career with excellent benefits, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A CDL) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT 30-day logbook) and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Ensure cargo is secured and protected against damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
- Basic computer skills for logging and paperwork.
