Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on local and regional routes between Miami, FL and North Carolina.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic logging devices (ELD) and logbooks.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) and drug screen clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of highway safety and navigation in the Southeast region.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet company driving standards.
- Flexibility to travel and work varying schedules as required.
