Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently to deliver cargo to designated locations in the Miami area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution according to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation for all shipments.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure high service standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples preferred).
- A clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle handling, and safety regulations.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
