Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and dedicated routes across Arizona and surrounding states
- Execute precise loading/unloading procedures with electronic logging compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and Swift's safety management systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and delivery timelines
- Represent Swift professionally with all clients and at customer facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices and navigation systems
- Flexibility for overnight trips and varying schedules
- Excellent communication and time management skills
