Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight and weekend shifts as needed
