Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across Tennessee and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Memphis metro area routes
- Strong safety compliance record
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
