Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes across Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi
- Safely load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training modules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
