Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (semi-trucks, dry vans) for local/regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment following safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required (KY endorsement preferred)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
