Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to transport goods to and from designated destinations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery paperwork in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B is required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) must be on file.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
