Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and logbooks per DOT regulations
- Maintain excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timing
- Report mechanical issues and perform basic preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years
