Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods throughout Los Angeles County
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight with proper handling techniques
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and traffic conditions in urban environments
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of California traffic laws and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
