Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across Los Angeles County and surrounding areas
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency while adhering to strict delivery schedules
- Handle secure cargo and maintain chain-of-custody documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges in real-time
- Represent the company with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Los Angeles metro area traffic patterns and regulations
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
