Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated locations on time and within company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR, ELD) and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of materials.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Uphold the company's high standards of safety and customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods.
