Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate DOT compliance logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Optimize routes to meet tight delivery deadlines in high-traffic areas
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with Long Beach port operations and LA metro routes
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
