Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision using advanced handling equipment
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging system (ELD)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and HazMat endorsement preferred
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and fleet management systems
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and delivery regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Exceptional time management and customer service skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
