Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in the Long Beach metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal route planning and time management
- Represent our company with exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Long Beach port operations and local routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- DOT medical certification current and maintained
