Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight within Southern California
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS tracking and route optimization
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork per FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Represent the company professionally with clients at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and port operations
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
