Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local delivery routes within Milwaukee County
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and follow safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (BOLs, manifests)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee area roads and traffic patterns
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexibility to start shifts as early as 4:00 AM
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and company driving assessment
