Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) for local deliveries within Sacramento metro area
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Load/unload freight safely using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD)
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Represent Premier Transport Solutions with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proven experience with local/regional routes in Northern California
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety compliance and customer service excellence
- Must pass background check and drug screening
