Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain meticulous pre-trip inspections and post-trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage efficient loading/unloading with proper freight handling
- Utilize GPS technology for optimized route navigation and on-time delivery
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Dallas/Fort Worth metro area geography
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
