Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local deliveries in LA County
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using pallet jacks/dollies
- Maintain daily vehicle inspection reports and pre/post-trip checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while navigating LA traffic
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- DOT medical certification and physical card
- Knowledge of LA metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality record
- Pass background check and drug screening
