Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within Virginia Beach metro area
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs using electronic logging devices
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle freight documentation and verify shipment accuracy
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Virginia roadways and regional logistics
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
