Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional routes within Houston
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Navigate efficiently through Houston's complex traffic systems and delivery zones
- Report maintenance issues promptly and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules and routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in Texas
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Knowledge of Houston metro area and surrounding regions
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong time management and communication skills
