Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on regional routes with zero preventable accidents
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging compliance
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs immediately
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control and securement protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical loading/unloading duties
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Southwest terrain
- Proven commitment to safety and punctuality
