Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight with proper equipment
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and weather conditions
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Comply with all DOT safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current medical certification (DOT physical)
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City metro area and surrounding states
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Previous experience with refrigerated freight preferred
