Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Document trip details, fuel logs, and delivery confirmations
- Maintain clean driving record and zero accident history
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and load securement
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and route planning abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to cross state lines and work flexible schedules
