Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time, ensuring cargo is handled with care.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and keep up-to-date records of vehicle mileage and fuel usage.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to minimize risk on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clear MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no serious moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
