Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles according to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Plan efficient routes and adhere to time schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to resolve any issues.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and electronic logging devices (ELD) accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
