Job Summary: As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across the Pacific Northwest. You will ensure that our cargo is handled with care while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in various weather conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs (ELD) and delivery records.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Must have a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and tire care.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
