Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently within the Seattle metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and necessary paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) and good moral standing.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic math and reading skills for trip planning and documentation.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
