Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in and around the San Antonio area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B, or be willing to obtain one.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo paid training if no CDL is currently held.
