Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on local and regional routes within North Carolina.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate records in electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with a clean MVR.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliable personal transportation for when not driving.
