Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and securement methods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel to Ohio locations as needed.
- Basic computer literacy for logging purposes.
