Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A & B) in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring weight distribution and securing loads properly.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service (HOS) documentation.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently, adhering to time schedules and traffic laws.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Clean driving record required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen clearance.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and cargo securement protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
