Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in a professional manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or Class B) required.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong willingness to learn and complete CDL training programs.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for log compliance.
