Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in a safe, professional, and defensive driving manner.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and document findings accurately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and time management schedules.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must be willing to undergo a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination to obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in varying weather conditions.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
