Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Complete all necessary logbooks, delivery receipts, and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain a professional image and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols to prevent accidents and violations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR compliant with no major violations in the last 3 years).
- At least 21 years of age for interstate travel.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
