Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and dispatch to resolve any delivery issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo and handle basic vehicle maintenance checks.
