Job Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on regional routes, including Florida.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and reporting as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driverâs License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current Medical Examinerâs Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic English reading and communication skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
