Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently within the Long Beach area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate digital logs (ELD) and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch via remote dispatch systems.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- No experience required if you are willing to undergo our paid training program.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must have a clean driving record and be insurable.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer literacy for accessing remote dispatch tools.
