Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a professional manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Ensure the security and timely delivery of freight.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and reporting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
