Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in adherence to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues promptly.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major moving violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate commerce operations.
