Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams regarding cargo status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (No experience required for entry-level).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and criminal background check.
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen.
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation.
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends if needed.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
