Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on local and regional routes within Indiana and surrounding states.
- Load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo integrity and security.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times, route changes, and cargo issues.
- Uphold a professional image and maintain a clean driving record at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Indiana.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and valid DOT Drug Screen clearance.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- U.S. citizenship or valid legal work authorization.
